HANDLES
Handles are the final touches in a kitchen and they can be traditional,
contemporary or minimalist. A kitchen shutter/draw is opened frequently hence
one should use strong handles to pull those. Big handles are used for open kitchen
so that the kitchen looks bigger also brass handles are use in solid wood kitchen
which give a traditional look to kitchen.

Once you decide the style and function of a knob or a handle, next is to know the
kind of material or finish you want in it. Special steel or polished brass are some of
the raw material which are used to manufacture handles/knobs.
The foremost criteria for choosing handles is their quality. A well designed,
good quality handle stands the test of time. Handles and knobs are often touched
and pulled while opening and closing kitchen doors and cabinets. They must look
stylish, but more importantly be functional and strong.

Knobs:
The knob is simply attached to the cabinet drawer or door with the help of a
screws. Knob looks very classic when used for draws or small doors also if it is
solid wood or architectural door then usage of knob is advisable. The glass, marble
or crystal knobs can be used in those cabinet doors which are situated outside the
kitchen area like in wash / toilet area. There are different styles of cabinet knobs
such as transitional knobs, traditional knobs, contemporary knobs, rustic knobs
etc., traditional solid brass knobs are the best. And let’s not forget the different
sizes and shapes these knobs come in. This again depends on the application.
